Andrew and Cassidy are seriously the cutest people ever. The way they look at each other… well you’ll see below. Sometimes I really have to coach couples to love on one another but not these two. They love to hold hands and Cassidy loves to lay her head on Andrew’s chest. I don’t have to ask them to look at each other or laugh cause their whole first look was completely candid. This is them, this whole day was pretty candid (except the part of me bossing around the groomsmen) cause I mean… groomsmen… hahaha. But seriously find a guy that looks at you like Andrew does, a guy who laughs with you and at you 🙂 , that sends you an airplane love letter and that gives you noggin in during the ceremony. Because that guy is a keeper.
To be honest it was a pretty crazy day, hair and make up totally wiped out my timeline and we scrabbled but we still made it through. Cassidy was still so determined to see Andrew for a special moment between just them and I’m so glad they did. The 12 minutes we stopped and took a few pictures before line up where so sweet and special it was also the only images we got of just them two. So remember even if your timeline is out of wack just focus on the two of you because at the end of the day those portraits are the most important ones.
After the ceremony we headed out to a big open field took some fun pictures there and then it was off to reception. I seriously giggled the whole night, there were so many fun and funny moments. Her best friend gave a speech that all of us fought back the tears and the evening was so carefree. Cassidy opted for a “loose” timeline for her reception she knew she didn’t want to be shuffled and that all the “extra” parts to a reception weren’t mandatory. She skipped out on a garter/bouquet toss and just used the time to dance instead. I’m so glad she did cause it was perfect.
I’m so happy for these kiddos I loved every part of their big day and I’m so happy they let me be a small part of it. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shelton!
