I think when we send our children off to college we just hope they make good grades and make good choices. We hope the best for them in each and every way, but we never think this is where they will meet the love of their life. You’d never say, “see ya later kiddo go find you a man”… well maybe my grandma would have said that… but along side all the new and exciting experiences getting to fall in love as your whole world is changing around you can be such a whirl wind. Especially for these two, they had a very tight timeline graduate, marriage, grad school all in just a few short weeks from each other. The best part of getting to be in on this season of life with Kaylin and Job is to meet their entire loving and totally fun family.
Normally I get a little hesitant when a lot of people want to give speeches because I hate getting off timeline. But all the speeches were well worth the listen. Everyone had such sweet words to say including Mrs. Ackerman, she was such a doll and I hope to be as witty and inspiring as her at my own daughters wedding.
Watching Kaylin and her dad hold back the tears at their first look and father/daughter dance reminds me of how much I love to photograph weddings. I absolutely adore the idea that when Kaylin “grows-up” she’s going to be a dentist like her daddy.
I loved getting to know them over the past several months especially at Job’s and Kaylin’s engagement session. They loved so well on each other and I didn’t have to nudge them into any kind of poses they were just very natural with one another and then Kaylin and I got to know each other even more at her bridal session. We both learned a lot that prepared us for the big day.
I loved this family and I hope we can continue to work with each other in the future! Good luck to you and I hope the very very best for you both!
